| Dear Pastor, This is to answer some questions that most pastors ask. If we do not hear from you to make other arrangements then we will assume that these guidelines are acceptable. A. BPI operates on an "Expenses plus Love Offering Basis" and believes that the tithe belongs to the local church., so all gifts received should be offerings above the tithe only. B. All Expenses for the meeting including travel and room and board should be raised in advance of the meeting or contained in the church budget. We expect the church to provide a motel room for each night when overnight travel is reasonable and adequate meals per day. Mileage reimbursements are expected to be for all mileage at the IRS deductible rate in effect. C. Love Offerings should be received by ushers passing plates or standing at each exit. Either way, the offering should be received at the end of the morning and evening worship services after our speaking has been done. We are a faith ministry and we believe that God will meet our needs through the love offering process if each pastor will promote the offering using the following information just prior to receiving each offering. (1) Approximately 20 weeks per year we receive no love offerings from churches. (2) Our operating expenses are approximately $1500 per week year round. (3) We minister to any church regardless of size or finances, first come, first served so long as expenses are provided or reimbursed and a love offering is received as outlined here. (4) Ministry is funded totally by donations. No financial products or services are sold. (5) We have never charged for a consultation, ever, and hope to never have to do so. (6) We have no minimum or set fee. We minister for whatever God’s people give. D. Occasionally a church will ask us to minister for an honorarium. If this is the case we expect the honorarium to be at least $5 for every adult present in the morning and evening worship services, this honorarium should be in addition to any travel expenses. E. It has been proven over and over that the same principles of blessing apply to the church as to the individual. The more given the more received. We believe this so much that God has led us to guarantee a 1000% annual return on the offering to any church that follows the guidelines stated in this memo or we will cheerfully return your offering upon request. For example, for each $1000 given to BPI we expect you to receive an increase of $10,000 over the next twelve months or our ministry to you is free. We have seen this met or exceeded constantly over the years with some churches reporting as much as 20,000% increase. These guidelines are provided to communicate our needs and expectations up front.
