Above Average Credit Score, Want to Slow Down Credit Card Offers?????
We know that Psalm 22:7 says that ..."the borrower is servant to the lender".... but somedays it seems that the US Postal Service is the lenders messenger person. Credit card issuers buy lists from the four largest credit rating companies. Those consumers with above average credit scores are then mailed a stream of offers for credit that is preapproved.
If you want to slow down those preapproved credit card offers then go to this link
www.optoutprescreen.com
When you fill out the form provided you will in time be removed from most of the prescreened credit card offers that come in the mail.
This won't stop all the offers but will remove your information from the lists sold by the credit rating companies listed on the website that have joined together to offer this option. If you have become one with a lower credit rating, it is less likely that this will help you but it might. Anyone that is interested in opting out may want to register.
